The sculpture you see here is an original design of mine. Every square inch is carefully worked on, the quality is as high, if not higher than the metal work you could find in museums. Back in the late sixties I used to create similar sculptures as the one displayed in this listing. I have made them in this very high quality style, which is a characteristic feature of this unique design.

You will find on the internet many followers of mine, who pass them self of as an "artist". They are offering similarly produced copies of my original art work, yet they all claim and take credit for them as their own. Folks, if I do not tell you all these, you might never know.

To produce this sculpture, I have chosen different materials, like brass, bronze, copper and some copper alloys. Not to mention the silver dollar from the 1880's that I have hammered flat to make the silver flower from. Beside the flowers and the vase, I have also used aluminum for the twisted ribbon sculpture part of it, which is uniquely recognized worldwide as my original style.

Alex's sculptures are made of the highest grade industrial aluminum available and are coated in urethane for long lasting protection. But of course, he is known to use other metal also, as you can see in this listing.

The "swirling" designs are polished or sanded using a grinding technique into the aluminum, colored with an anodized enamel, that was developed strictly for this metal. His famous "holographic" effects, that Alex perfected in color, comes to life at any light source one can imagine of. This is a main feature in his work, that he has developed in 2006. To sum it up, here is a fact that Alex is kind of proud of. There are hardly any seats left for more metal "artists" riding on his band wagon!"
